Calaxy Tokens ($CLXY) are now available on Ethereum and Polygon via hashport, a public utility that facilitates the secure movement of digital assets between Decentralized Ledger Technology or blockchain networks.

This opens the door to enabling collateralization, lending, staking, and more for $CLXY. In addition to supporting fungible Calaxy Tokens, the portal will also allow Calaxy Collectibles (NFTs) to be bridged onto Ethereum and Polygon-based marketplaces such as OpenSea.

Polygon Studios, which is quickly becoming the go to resource for the hottest projects building on the Polygon blockchain, will support Calaxy with a suite of services such as technical solutions, asset expansion, industry resources, branding and other aspects.

The token symbols for wrapped $CLXY on Ethereum and Polygon networks will be $CLXY[eth] and $CLXY[0x], respectively.

Ethereum is a decentralized, open-source, proof-of-work blockchain granting access to digital money and data-friendly services for everyone — no matter your background or location. It’s a community-built technology behind the cryptocurrency ether (ETH) and thousands of applications you can use today.

Polygon is the leading platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its growing suite of products offers developers easy access to all major scaling and infrastructure solutions: L2 solutions (ZK Rollups and Optimistic Rollups), sidechains, hybrid solutions, stand-alone and enterprise chains, data availability solutions, and more. Polygon’s scaling solutions have seen widespread adoption with 19,000+ decentralized applications hosted, 1.6B+ total transactions processed, ~142M+ unique user addresses, and $5B+ in assets secured.
